Corporate Matching

Did you know that that many employers will match your donation(s) to MVSA? Your company may match dollar for dollar or up to a certain amount for your contributions. All you have to do is just ask!

Here is a list of the most common ways companies can contribute to our school:

  • Volunteer Hours
  • Automatic Payroll Deductions
  • Registration Fees
  • And possibly more!

Here is what you need to do:

  • Tell us who you work for.
  • Obtain a matching gift form from your employer (usually available on your company’s intranet).
  • Fill out your information completely.
  • Return the form to MVSA (drop off in the front office).
  • We’ll complete our part and mail it in!

For more information about Corporate Matching contact MVSA  board@mvsa-fremont.org

MVSA Membership Drive

WHY ARE OUR MVSA MEMBERSHIP DONATIONS DOWN 50%?

Perhaps you don’t know what the MVSA does with your generous donations?

Every year, the MVSA employs a computer lab technician to keep our computer lab ready for classes, funds numerous school-wide activities such as disaster preparedness, FAME, Letter Reward Picnic and Safety Patrol and provides classroom funding directly to teachers. In addition, in the past few years, the MVSA funded large-scale upgrades to our campus that the school district was unable to provide.

–          All new computers for the computer lab

–          PE and Disaster Preparedness Sheds

–          New laptops for all teachers

–          New document cameras and overhead projectors for all teachers who requested them.

Perhaps you thought we could do all of the above without your donation?

We can’t. In order to be able to fulfill the promises we have made to the school to fund the activities we do each year, we need to meet our fundraising goals. With membership donations down 50% compared with last year, we will have to cut programs from our budget for this year. Please see the backside of this flier to find out where your child’s classroom stands in number of memberships.

Perhaps you meant to donate but forgot?

It is never too late. We still need your help. Although the membership contest deadline was October 12, we will be very grateful to receive your donation and award you the membership incentive gift at any time, while supplies last.

Perhaps you lost the form?

Easy! Complete the form below and return it to your student’s teacher.

Please hurry! And don’t forget to inquire about company matching programs with your employer to possibly double your donation. Thank you very much.

The MVSA Annual Membership Drive is now in full swing.  The suggested donation is $100 per student, however, any amount will be gratefully accepted.  Donations are tax deductible and qualify for corporate matching funds. MVSA will gladly accept your donation at any time.

Hurry & get your membership donation in today! Cilck here for a Membership Form.

The Computer Lab needs mouse pads!

Mouse Pads Needed!  The school computer lab needs new mouse pads. If you know a company that is willing to donate 35 or more mouse pads please bring them by the school office. Just let the office staff know that it is for the computer lab. Thank you.
