JOGATHON – Our biggest fundraiser !

There is still time to donate !

Please help us meet or exceed our goal of raising $35,000 for Jogathon 2013. This year we have simplified the process by asking for flat rate donations and making online payments an option. Remember to include your student’s name and room number on the memo line.  Please be generous!  And don’t forget to ask your employers for company matching donations. That often doubles your donation. You can also donate online.

There are fun prizes at every level, and of course, we will still be marking and recording how many laps the students run. If you have time to help us, please contact us at: Suman 510-673-0046, or Filiz 510-249-9590,

Long Range Facilities Plan Committee

Fremont schools are among the highest performing schools in the area.  We work hard to provide our students the best learning environment with our limited facilities budget. Many of our schools are in need a major repair and modernization to prepare students for a 21st century education.    On January 23, 2013, the Board of Education approved the development of a Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) to guide facilities decisions for the next decade. The plan will help us make decisions about how to best use our funds and explore other funding sources such as a school bond campaign in 2014.

Over the next ten months, there will be multiple opportunities for interested parents, students, staff and community members to provide input, review proposed solutions, and to help prioritize future projects.

Please see flyer for more details LRFP Flyer

I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the recent fundraiser for the library.

Thanks to you we have an additional $1300 to spend on books.  I shall be updating our non-fiction section with this money, with special reference to the sciences and technology.

Mission Valley parents and students, you are wonderful.
