The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is seeking input from parents and the community on what to include within it’s Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP).
Provide your feedback by completing the online survey. Parent feedback must be provided to the Mission Valley principal by Feb. 21, 2014.
What is the Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP)?
The Local Control & Accountability Plan (LCAP) is a critical part of the new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) model being used to allocate funding across the state. School districts will decide how to use the funds, but under the LCFF system they must get input from their local communities. They also have to tie their budgets to improvement goals by creating a LCAP. Below is a brief video that provides an overview of California’s Local Control Funding Formula.
